Atlas System-On-A-Modules

Production Ready Heterogeneous Computing Modules

iVeia’s Atlas System-on-a-Modules are designed and built for reliable operation in production applications. The flexible Atlas architecture allows for system scalability in performance, I/O, size, and power, and provides a migration path between differing technologies and future Atlas modules.

At iVeia, all of our Atlas SoMs are manufactured in the USA using state-of-the-art fabrication and assembly techniques.

Atlas Form Factor

There are three Atlas sizes (Atlas-I, Atlas-II, and Atlas-III), the smallest is smaller than a business card and the largest is only slightly larger than a credit card. Atlas slots for larger modules support the smaller ones, so a baseboard with an Atlas-II slot can support all Atlas-I and Atlas-II modules, and an Atlas-III slot can support all Atlas sizes.

Atlas Reliability

Our Atlas SoMs are designed from the ground up to operate reliably. Despite the aggressive board densities, we use proven manufacturing tolerances/materials and design techniques to ensure reliable operation. For instance, we do not use blind or buried vias to reduce risk of board delamination due to thermal or mechanical stress. Our industrial temperature designs account for derated component operation at temperature extremes, rather than simply replacing commercial temperature parts with industrial temperature ones.
